Eric Staggs earned an interdisciplinary BA from Columbia College Chicago in Creative Writing and Screen Writing in 2006. Eric earned his MFA in Creative Writing early in 2011. As Co-Founder of Spectacle Publishing Media Group, LLC, Eric worked through all aspects of print and eBook publishing, from vetting queries to creative direction for cover art. Eric worked extensively with the writers published by SPMG to help them create the best stories possible. He also taught a college lit course at the Madison Media Institute, in Madison WI.
In 2015, Spectacle Publishing closed its door permanently. Since then Eric has been a bar owner, freelance writer and spent some years living on the shore of mighty Lake Superior.
Hobbies include philosophy, anthropology, archaeology, astronomy, classical history, gaming, strategy, literature, cinema, cultural trends, technology, Buddhism and zombies. Eric is now developing new gaming projects as a writer and lead designer.
